Current Leadership
Elizabeth Wang
President
Elizabeth Wang is a current senior at Princeton Day School, where she plays the violin in her school orchestra. She has also been a member of the Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra for several years, and becoming inspired to bring music to underrepresented and underprivileged groups through service, she joined WMCU in seventh grade and has continued her work ever since. Outside of music and school, Elizabeth enjoys playing golf, visual arts, and creative writing.
Yiheng(Frank) Wang
Co-Vice President
Yiheng (Frank) Wang is a senior at the Princeton International School of Mathematics and Science. He began studying the cello at the age of six and is currently a cellist in the GPYO Youth Orchestra, where he is passionate about connecting music with community engagement. Since joining WMCU in November 2024, he has supported music-based community initiatives while pursuing his interest in environmental pollution and remediation.
Jamie Yao
Co-Vice President
Jamie is a junior at Princeton Day School who is passionate about academics, leadership, and community engagement. She is actively involved in activities such as Model UN, Science Olympiad, and Mock Trial. Outside of school, Jamie enjoys playing piano, playing tennis, skiing, and spending time with friends and family. She values learning from new experiences and making a positive impact in her community.
Andrew M. Li
Website Chair
Andrew Li is a junior at WWP High School North and has been a member of the WMCU family since 2023. He currently plays the cello in the Symphony Orchestra of the Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra. As a cellist, Andrew has learned that music is not only a form of self-expression but also a powerful way to bring people together and make a positive impact in the community. Outside of music, he enjoys playing tennis and is passionate about science and engineering.
Chenxi (Serena) Gao
Social Media Chair
Serena Gao is a sophomore at Princeton High School. She is also a guzheng musician who is dedicated to promote traditional Chinese music through performance and community service with Where Music Carries Us. Outside of school and playing her instrument, Serena enjoys reading, baking and the arts.
Louis Lou
Secretary and Treasurer
Louis Lou is a current junior at Princeton Day School, where he is involved in both academics and music. Through his involvement with the Where Music Carries Us program, he hopes to use music as a way to connect with and support local communities. Outside of music and school, Louis enjoys playing hockey and golf, going to the gym, and snowboarding.
Andrew Hu
Alumni Chair
Andrew Hu is a sophomore at The Lawrenceville School who has studied cello for six years and currently studies with Yi Qun Xu. He has performed in his school’s spring concert, placed third in the Charleston Music Competition, and enjoys creative writing, fencing, and fitness.
Anthony Lin
Publicity Chair
Anthony Lin is a junior at Princeton Day School who plays clarinet in the school band and also enjoys bass clarinet and piano. Outside of music, he is a competitive swimmer who enjoys basketball, photography, and filmmaking.
Ruoxi(Rena) Yu
Creative Chair
Rena Yu is a sophomore at Princeton High School. She’s a violinist who is passionate about using music to make a positive impact in the community. She hopes to share the joy of music with others while connecting with people from different backgrounds. In addition to developing as a musician, Rena also enjoys rowing, creative writing, and the arts.
Ella Chen
C0-Social Media Chair
Ella Chen is a freshman at Princeton Day School who has studied piano for over eight years. She won First Place in the Crescendo International Music Competition and has performed at Carnegie Hall. Outside of music, she enjoys creative writing and visual arts.
Audrey Yang
Audrey Yang graduated from Princeton University in 2025. She has played the flute since third grade and performed with the PHS Studio Band and the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra. She also attended the Flute Workshop at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute. In 2020, Audrey received a National YoungArts Honorable Mention in Classical Flute and was a finalist in the National Flute Association’s High School Soloist Competition. She founded Where Music Carries Us in 2018 to unite musicians through music and serve the greater community. Audrey also enjoys studying French and linguistics.
