Elizabeth Wang
President
Elizabeth Wang is a current junior at Princeton Day School, where she plays the violin in her school orchestra. She has also been a member of the Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra for several years, and becoming inspired to bring music to underrepresented and underprivileged groups through service, she joined WMCU in seventh grade and has continued her work ever since. Outside of music and school, Elizabeth enjoys playing golf, visual arts, and creative writing.
Yiheng(Frank) Wang
Co-Vice President
Yiheng (Frank) Wang is a junior at the Princeton International School of Mathematics and Science. He began studying the cello at the age of six and is currently a cellist in the Concert Orchestra of the Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra, where he is passionate about connecting music with community engagement. Since joining WMCU in November 2024, he has played an active role in shaping music-based, community-centered initiatives. Beyond music, he focuses on environmental pollution and remediation.
Andrew Li
Webmaster
Andrew Li is a sophomore at WWP High School North and has been a member of the WMCU family since 2023. He currently plays the cello in the Symphony Orchestra of the Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra. As a cellist, Andrew has learned that music is not only a form of self-expression but also a powerful way to bring people together and make a positive impact in the community. Outside of music, he enjoys playing tennis and is passionate about science and engineering.
Serena Gao
Social Media Chair
Serena Gao is a freshman at Princeton High School. She is also a guzheng musician who is dedicated to promote traditional Chinese music through performance and community service with Where Music Carries Us. Outside of school and playing her instrument, Serena enjoys reading, baking and the arts.
Founder
Audrey Yang
Audrey Yang is currently enrolled in Princeton University. She has been playing the flute since third grade and has played in PHS’ Studio Band and the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra. Audrey attended the Flute Workshop at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute in the summer of 2019. In 2020, she was named a National YoungArts Honorable Mention Winner in Classical Flute and was a finalist in the National Flute Association’s High School Soloist Competition. Audrey founded Where Music Carries Us in 2018 to bring musicians together, forging bonds through music to benefit the greater community. Outside of playing music and finding ways to help out in the region, she loves to study French and linguistics.
